Itinerary

Day 1 — Arrival + Sunset in Stone Town

Your journey begins as you arrive at Zanzibar Airport or the ferry port, where you are warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred into the heart of Stone Town. After checking in at your hotel, you’ll have a moment to settle in before heading out for a guided walking tour through this UNESCO World Heritage city. Your guide will lead you through the historic charm of the Old Dispensary, the ancient customs house, and the vibrant Darajani Market, where locals shop for spices, fruits, and daily essentials

Day 2 — Jambiani Village Life, Seaweed Farming & Swahili Cooking Experience

Your second day begins with a cultural immersion in the peaceful village of Jambiani. You’ll visit a traditional Swahili home where you can engage with local families and learn about their daily lifestyle, traditions, and community values. The highlight of the morning is the unique opportunity to join local women in their seaweed farms along the shoreline.

Day 3 — Jozani Forest, Mangroves & Dhow-Building in Nungwi

In the morning, you will explore the famous Jozani Forest, home to the rare and friendly red colobus monkeys that can only be found in Zanzibar. As you walk along the forest paths, your guide will teach you about the local wildlife, trees, and medicinal plants. The tour continues toward the mangrove boardwalk, where you’ll learn how mangroves protect the coastline and support the ecosystem.

Day 4 — Private Sandbank Experience & Departure

Your final morning begins with a short boat ride to a quiet, isolated sandbank—one of Zanzibar’s most beautiful natural treasures. You’ll have plenty of time to swim in crystal-clear water, snorkel above shallow coral reefs, sunbathe, and simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings. A light picnic lunch may be served depending on your tour setup.
